Brian Berger’s NFL Locks for Week #2
________________
A winning first week (9-7) definitely a good way to start. We’ll see if I can keep it up. There are some good games this week, including the Sunday and Monday night’s games (and thankfully Berman isn’t getting anywhere near announcing this week).
Philadelphia – 2 vs. Baltimore: Sucker bet all the way. Makes no sense that the Birds should be favored in this game.
__
Cincy – 7 vs Cleveland: Without Joe Haden and the relentless Baltimore pass rush, Cincy should be able to throw all over the place. Look for a huge game from AJ Green (fantasy owners rejoice)
__
TB + 7 vs NY Giants: Tampa seems to have turned the corner now that Raheem Morris is no longer there. Plus when the Giants go 0-2 they
will have the entire league right where they want them, low expectations.
__
The rest of the picks:
GB – 5 vs. Chicago
Houston -7 vs. Jacksonville
KC + 3 vs. Buffalo
Oakland - 2.5 vs Miami (they are so bad)
Carolina +2.5 vs NO
NE – 13.5 vs Arizona
Indianapolis +2 vs. Minnesota
St. Louis +3 vs. Washington
Seattle + 3 vs. Dallas (come on, two good games from Romo on the road?!)
San Diego -6 vs. Tennessee
Pitt -5 vs. NY Jets
San Fran -7 vs. Detroit
Denver +3 vs Atlanta
